Friday night we went exploring at Gardner Village. First we discovered the Naborhood Bakery (their spelling, not mine) and their sandwiches and snickerdoodles. We also discovered a children's toy store that would drain my life savings away if I let it. It's the books that kill me. And the toys. And the games. And the puzzles. And the porcelain dolls. And the shoes for the porcelain dolls.
We all liked looking at the little craft stores sprinkled throughout and Dahlia fed the geese at the pond. (She may or may not have been feeding them the last bites of her caramel apple from Chocolate Covered Wagon. But apples are good for geese, I'm sure.) It was a very delightful way to spend a Friday evening. Now when I pass the Gardner Village stop when I'm riding on TRAX, I won't have to wonder what's out there.
