On that same visit to Grandpa's house, Tyler asked me if he could ride his scooter to the park. So we put on our shoes and jackets and went outside. The park is a ways away. My plan was to let him ride his scooter for a block or two and then make our way back to my Dad’s house. But Tyler’s plan was to ride to the park and, to my surprise, he actually knew where the park was! Smart little guy. So he led the way to the park, with Bryce and I walking behind. When we got to the park, Tyler explored the different toys while Bryce explored all the puddles. He kept asking me if he could drink from the puddles so that I would say, “No, that’s too yucky” over and over again. If you think that my nephews have me wrapped around their cute little fingers, you are absolutely right. And it's my favorite place to be.
